This is the first book I’ve read by Emily Henry and it really surprised me. I didn’t expect to enjoy this book as much as I did. I laughed, I cried, I got angry, kicked my feet while reading.

Daphne is going to hold a special place in my heart after this because she reminds me so much of myself and Miles is the type of guy I imagined for myself. Outside of this, I really enjoyed the story and Emily’s writing. She’s an excellent author and I’m excited to read her other bodies of work.

adventurous emotional funny hopeful reflective fast-paced

This book drew me in. The writing and the characters were charming and I enjoyed falling into their lives in Waning Bay. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and looked forward to going to bed so I could read it. The book is very unrealistic from the overall storyline (which is cute but far fetched) and there is way too much coincidence in the book for a full 5 star rating. I still highly recommend it for a quick read that will draw you in!

Maybe my favorite Emily Henry book I’ve read- and exactly what I needed after reading several intense books in a row. Easy read that made me laugh and had likable main characters. While predictable, it still was cute and enjoyable.
