Prior to reading this book, I had heard of Wilco but wasn't familiar with its music or band-members. I did something I rarely do... chose to read it based on its title.
Tweedy's memoir is very thoughtful and moving. He describes his upbringing, introduction to music, bands, and later, his depression. What struck me most about Mr. Tweedy? His humility.
Recommended.

I loved this! I’m not even a huge Tweedy fan, but this book was funnier and more introspective than I expected. I recommend the audio book, which he reads himself.
as a wilco fan and a natural empath i found this book very entertaining
I adored this. Tweedy is a dork but he's funny, and he has a lack of ego that allows his book to be as warm as his songwriting. It was sad hearing about how rough things were between Fararr and Tweedy during the Tupelo days and their younger friendship but he is an honest guy. It's made me put every Wilco and Tupelo record back on my iPhone and relisten.
