Still a good series, but it devolved into a predictable big fight at the end. Could have been more. Also, the point at which I stop following it as closely. It'll be a while before I pick up any more of this series (as with most of the New 52, which I'm culling bit-by-bit).

I do still like the alternate approach to Greek mythology. That's been done very well.

Wonder Woman is such a badass. I know I've said that before, but she really is. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next volume!

Prvorozený se snaží dostat do civilizace za pomoci své “zachránkyně”. Cestou je ale zarazí Poseidon, který má nabídku, kterou nemůžou odmítnout. Diana se pak v Londýně setká s Prvorozeným, který si nárokuje trůn. Myslí si, že on je dítětem z proroctví, ale co když se mýlí? Na scéně se ukáže celá Dianina parta včetně Oriona, který je vezme do Nové Genesis. A nakonec se strhne neskutečná bitva, do které významným dílem přispěje sám Válka.

I was going to quit Wonder Woman after finishing this volume - I find DC comics hard to follow and had begun to find the plot unravelling in my mind. However, the second half of Volume 4 really pulled me back in as the events have very interesting implications for the next part of the story.

The loss of certain characters is sad, they were some of my favourites, but this might also streamline the plot and make way for new developments.

I guess I'll see with the next volume.

Reading stories like these makes me want to know more about the infrastructure of the gods' world. If you kill a god and become it, do you absorb the entirety of their power or just the prestige of the title? Unanswered questions...

At first, I really didn't like it. But the battle was epic. And Hera and Zola's relationship has improved so much. Zola understands Hera pain, and they have become almost friends. It is so beautiful to see women supporting each other.
