It was okay. A light read. Some nice spots here and there.

I skimmed this book because it didn't do such a good job keeping me intrigued. I think this book is better suited for a 50+ crowd.

This was a fun read. I really enjoy stories that bring together strangers that are in the midst of changes, or on the cusp of change, in their lives, and they all end up assisting each other and forming some long-lasting friendships. And this one took place in Ireland, where I desperately want to visit one day. The back of this book is right: it's witty, informative, and there is definitely romance (I would argue a little more than a touch but do agree it's not the main focus). It was amazing how the author brought everyone together emotionally and the amount of character development was huge and well done. Especially with such a wide variety of characters (though hopefully future books expand further in that area). My main issue didn't have anything to do with the story or the writing - the book wasn't bound super well and I had to be careful when turning pages, otherwise they would fall out. YIKES!

This is a pleasant book with a cast of wildly variant characters and a series of encounter, escapades etc. It is very readable great holiday reading and i would read more by this author

I found the characters shallow and the portrayals of Americans terrible.

I was very pleasantly surprised by The Tour by Jean Grainger. This book was offered free for Kindle Unlimited and it is quite a gem! Conor O’Shea operates a tour company based in his homeland, Ireland. Each tour has no more than 10 vacationers. These 10 people couldn’t have been more different, yet I cheered for each of them throughout the story. While I was expecting more Ireland to be detailed, I loved the relationships of these characters so much that I didn’t really mind that they really didn’t seem to go anywhere. The grew so much throughout their weeklong tour that I was sorry for the book to end. Looking forward to reading the next book in the Conor O’Shea series.

I wasn't sure about this book at first. I loved the Ireland setting. I adored the characters except for Elliot and Dorothy. I love how Conor finally opened up to his feelings. The while crew on The Tour there was something homey to all of them. Definitely will be continuing with the series.

Really cute, fun, light read- that is, if you prefer all your characters in black and white. The good ones are substantially rewarded at the end and the "bad" ones do a complete 180 and become saints- heartily learning their lessons. I did like the Irish history quite a bit and rooted for the characters- it was just a set of very one-dimensional story lines. PS- this says "series #1"- there's MORE?
