This book was really great (as I expected based on the previous ones in the series.) There are always twists and turns that I don't see coming and they keep the story interesting. However, the political issues in this one were a bit much for me, and though I understand how they are needed for the story, that's why I didn't give this a full 5 stars.
Harper and Helene's interactions were really cute and the part at the end made me so mad and I hope they can work things out.
Also Laia and Elias?! That just breaks my heart, but I still have hope. And what is up with the nightbringer? Did/does he love Laia???!!! That's weird but I kinda like it!!

Fave quote:" Love is joy coupled with misery, elation bound to dispair. It is a fire that beckons me gently and then burns when I get too close. I hate love. I yearn for it. And it drives me mad."

Already can't wait for the next one, since this one doesn't actually "end." I've really enjoyed this series.
