I really enjoyed this book!! I honestly didn’t have any clue who it was and I really didn’t expect Kate to be the one who wanted to kidnap Cassie honestly it kept me on the edge of my seat I would so recommend to people who enjoy a little thriller
I picked up this book during a ‘Stuff Your Kindle Day’. Overall, it was an okay read.
This book had a fairly predictable plot and I guessed who was involved quite early on, but I didn’t really understand why. Either way, they were times in the book which did take me by surprise.
Naomi and Charlie have recently separated due to him being unfaithful? Naomi was struggling with being a single mum and having to take care of her 5-year-old daughter, which led her to taking herbal sleeping tablets, or so she thought. Naomi wakes in the morning to find her daughter is missing. As the story unravels, it also brings Naomi and Charlie closer together once again, both realising that they may still need one another. Do they find their missing daughter?

Interesting concept and though the twists are predictable, decent nonetheless.
Main flaw is the dialogue. All the characters sounded the same and plot lines were fully delivered and/or explained through dialogue which made it very unnatural, both in how they said things and what they said to whom - there's no way a real detective would divulge that much information to a civilian!! The only purpose it served was to drive the plot.
