In a small Canadian town, the universe crafted by G.A. Mazurke transcends the typical small-town setting! Pigeon Creek brims with family saga, suspense, and captivating moments featuring the charismatic Billionaire Rancher, Colton Korhonen – you'll surely adore Colt. Zee, on the other hand, strives to preserve her family's legacy and embarks on an arranged marriage with Colton. Past family history leads them from friends to foes to passionate lovers. Despite the arranged union, Zee is a determined, intelligent woman with ambitions – she refuses to be underestimated. G.A. Mazurke shines a light on Zee's admirable handling of her battle with Type 1 Diabetes, showcasing with respect and understanding. The characters, the storyline, and the world of Pigeon Creek all receive top marks. Excitement builds as we eagerly anticipate what unfolds next!

“Mom told me once that I was put on this earth to cause mischief, but I don’t think I was. I think I was put on this earth to make Colton Korhonen smile.”

Things Left Unsaid by G.A. Mazurke is a banger of a series starter! First of all, Colt Korhonen can frost my donut any day of the week! Geeees, the smoldery rancher hotness is next level in this swoon-worthy former friends-to-lovers romance. Susanne McCallister left Pigeon Creek a decade ago under a cloud of scandal and scrutiny. Still blamed for a tragedy she didn’t cause, Zee begrudgingly returns home at her grandmother’s behest. A family feud that rivals the Hatfields & McCoys, three goofball twin brothers, and a hidden threat keep Zee on her toes in this rivals-to-lovers romance. Colt and Zee have scorching hot chemistry and the banter is next level. I loved the evolution of their relationship throughout the story, especially the “my wife” energy from Colt. This was an awesome start to Ms. Mazurke’s new series and I am dying for more!

Stella Hunter and Connor Crais gave outstanding performances as Susanne & Colt. A growly, brooding Korhonen is my favorite type of Korhonen and Connor nailed Colt’s character. Stella portrayed Zee’s emotional rollercoaster journey perfectly. She brought the brassy, kind, fractured sweetheart to life beautifully. If you’re looking for a rivals-to-lovers, first crush, small-town love story with phenomenal narration, grab Things Left Unsaid now!

This one a slow burn and pretty long, but it is a great start to a new series!

We have an overprotective hero who doesn’t want to love her, and even when he hates her, he protects her.

I loved the mystery / suspense aspect of the storyline. It was interesting to see the family history.

The steam was so good, but are we surprise for a Mazurke/Akeroyd novel.

Spice:

This book is packed full of heartache, found family, beautiful friendships, and pure love. I loved the banter between Zee and Tee right off the bat. I knew then I was in for a good time. Fast forward and add in Colt, and I was melting at the start due to his way with words and his protectiveness over all the brothers, the ranch, and his childhood best friend and newly arranged wife. Watching Zee and Colt go through so much loss and heartbreak to find their spark again was everything. I won’t lie; I was scared when I saw this was almost 600 pages… but I finished it in two nights. Absolutely devoured and loved it. I will definitely be following this series in the future! I am on my toes for Callans book!
