Once again I’m hooked by c.j.Tudor. I’ve read two of her other books and this one did not disappoint. The plot was amazing from start to finish and the plot twists just crept up on you from everywhere! Another dark and disturbing story that had me hooked. I read this book in literally a day and that’s unusual for me because I get distracted and bored. If you like horror, creepy and gruesome stories YOU NEED TO REAS THIS! (You don’t even have a choice you HAVE to read it)

I’ve been wanting to read a C.J. Tudor book for a while now and I’m so happy that I finally decided to pick one up. I went into this one blind and had no idea what to expect and was so pleasantly surprised. It gave me The Blair Witch Project and Midnight Mass vibes from the start and I was hooked. I loved the multiple POV’s and really enjoyed listening to both narrators. Definitely a binge-able book and I found myself listening to 60% of it in one sitting. This book had me guessing until the end and I was shocked with the twists throughout.
Overall, I highly recommend this one to anyone who’s looking for a good, twisty thriller. This will definitely not be my last book by Tudor and I can’t wait to read more!

This was my favorite thriller of 2023 and for good reason! It can be hard to find a thriller that checks all the boxes for you, but this one did for me. I didn’t once want to put it down. The premise was immediately intriguing, with a backstory of eerie persecution in a small town. The setting of the book was immersive and had such a rich atmosphere. The Burning Girls was incredibly scandalous, twisty, humorous, and chilling.

The ending was perfect, and I was on my toes the entire book. I would definitely recommend. I still find myself thinking about this book months later.
