First off, Sierra Simone is the gold standard for her romance scenes. No one is as filthy or wonderful as her.
But this book has a lot of virgins in it, and that’s a trop that’s so tired. OK, one character is a super hot college graduate that’s also deeply religious—sure, maybe she somehow managed the self control to not yet have sex. But the male character being 30 years old, super hot, was prom king, former military is somehow a virgin??

Dit boek was prima maar niet echt mijn boek. Ik ga ook niet deel 2 lezen.
I will still give this series a chance but I did not fall in love with these characters like I did with the New Camelot series. That ending though!

Equal parts plot and spice. Both delicately written given the atmosphere and circumstance. It didn't turn me on, however — it didn't turn me off. Which is intriguing enough to continue the series and see how the scene develops.
