Wow! This book is incredible, emotional and so special. I have no more to say other than you should read this book.

4,5 stars. This book starts light as a fairy tale, but then everything changes. It is about life during world war II in Russia. It is a beautiful and heartbreaking story. I loved it.

Despite setting this book down to come back around & finish, I really enjoyed it. It was devastatingly bittersweet. This novel serves as a welcome reminder that there is vulnerability in truly listening & there is power in sharing

Only thing that put me off was the lack of emotional depth & awareness of the 30 year old sisters.

Sucks pretty bad. The drama wasn't dramatic enough or explained?? just mentioned lol. The plot was fine but I expect more from kristin hannah tho like this was after firefly lane tf? Tears did steadily stream down my face for the last like 100 pages! The ending is pretty solid at least

This started off with great potential, but I got really bored half-way through and by the time I finished the book it wasn’t enjoyable anymore :(
