Die Jagd: Thriller

Poorly written. Overhyped because the author is a podcast. She wants you to think she’s smart more than she wants to entertain you with a story. Instantly was a best seller for no reason besides the name of the author! It is set up to be the first in a series and I’m sure the cash cow will be milked for many years to come. For this reason, it ends abruptly and without any self-contained closure.
I did not give one star simply because I finished the book and it didn’t ruin my day.

Okay, this book has me in a choke hold because I need to know what happens next.

Was it the best thing I've ever read? No. But did I read it in one sitting and enjoy myself? Hell yes.

I'd highly recommend the audiobook. It has two narrators and it's very good. Not only that but there's a bit of a conversation at the end with the author who reveals that she's not done with this story and is currently writing a second book

This book was just fine. I liked the story itself ... a cool premise. My biggest issue (and I had a few) was the ending: There are ways to wrap a book without a cliffhanger and still leave room for a sequel. It just felt generally unfinished/unsatisfying.
