A great book about spoken history and identity. I really enjoyed this element of it, but didn’t necessarily enjoy the book overall.

An interesting read. A giant metaphor for identity and religion - through a twisted lens.

I normally wouldn’t include this in my DNFd pile since I’ve read less than 100 pages of it, but this made me realize that I prefer my cannibalism to be literal and not satirical. It’s always nice to learn something about my reading tastes.

I really liked the idea of this book and found it pretty funny and entertaining. At times it did feel a little slow and overly philosophical but it was an enjoyable read nonetheless.
