Beach Read...funny portions regarding silly female lead....picked it up at airport after I finished my last book.

Annoying

I can't believe that this is a Sophie Kinsella book. Its annoying, it drags on forever, its a mess. I couldn't wait for it to end. I love this author but this book was a train wreck. None of the characters are likeable, even the 7 year old boy speaks and acts like he's 2 or 3. This i s the worst of her books that I've read.

so irritatingly dull and a waste of a good setting, poor greece!

OK -- I will begin this review by defending myself. Ms. Kinsella's writing is not my genre. I found this book while on vacation on 'book swap' bookcase at the place I was staying. Normally, I would not have chosen to read 'Wedding Night'. But I'm glad I did. Though rather predictable, it is hilarious. The adventures of sisters Lottie and Fliss had my chuckling throughout my plane ride home (it is a quick, quick read) and I enjoyed surrendering to a few hours of fluff. Who wouldn't want a sister to stop you from making an Unfortunate Choice?

For the most part, I really enjoyed this book and found it very funny, but there were times I found the characters exasperating and their actions questionable. Overall, it was a fun book to read.

Hilarious romp with a delightful ending

Not nearly as good as kinsella'a other books but still a good beach read!

This book made me laugh like no other in a while. It was very entertaining and fun read but story all in all was kinda childish. I mean, who does what Lottie did? Who marries someone 5 minutes after meeting them? Who? Well, Lottie I guess. But I'm not denying that it was laugh worthy. I was cracking up in every 5 minutes. Good summer read but nothing else.

Oh boy... *headdesk*
Usually I like Kinsella's books for exactly her ability to create characters that I as the reader can identify with and relate to. However, I was baffled to find that wasn't the case here – both Fliss and Lottie felt so over-the-top that I couldn't really connect with either of them for various reasons. There was one outrageous choice after the other, all around, and I felt an urge to scream at this frustrating assembly of characters more than once. It started lighthearted enough and garnered a few giggles here and there, but then the preposterous story descended into a steady downhill run, with the comedic parts becoming more and more in-your-face and less and less believable.
Well, you can't win 'em all...

A cute and adorable read with annoying main girls. Just like the other Sophie Kinsella books I've read.
