This is nothing against the author herself because I will continue to read all her books. But this particular one was grotesque to me.

She’s a victim of s*xual ab*se as a child and grows up to have a r*pe fantasy during s*x. I DNF’d at 31%. Couldn’t stand Lily or Mason to begin with. That was the final straw.
