Meh

This one felt rushed. Still a mystery, still intriguing but rushed.

The correspondence continues...will they ever meet? Is it possible for them to meet? Are they in parallel worlds? How crazy can this story go?

Still beautiful the second time around. Will the new fourth volume answer the mystery?

What?! That is all!!! What does it all mean? Intrigue and alluding to an ending but what really happened? I found there are more books..., I have to read them!

It is a very good thing I got these to read one right after the other; I can't imagine having to wait years for the next installment!

The story is beautiful, but I would like more answers. Maybe that is part of the beauty. I'm looking for the next trilogy that continues the story.

I definitely enjoyed this the least of the three. The ending is the main reason. I'll put my reason under a spoiler warning here:
The thing I love about the first two books is that you really are left wondering whether there is a Sabine, if this is all in Griffin's head, what the truth is. This one eliminates so much of the mystery and ambiguity by the postscript and it made me annoyed.

The art is stunning as per usual. I love the epistolary format. It leaves the right amount of holes in the narrative. Yet I still longed for more in the resolution.
