The plot twist genuinely shook me. Didn’t expect that. This book was very good loved the double romance but was a little tougher to finish but I still really enjoyed it. Come on is Colleen Hoover. Very good

I never thought I would rate a Colleen Hoover book lower than 4 stars but here we go. I don't know but I'm beginning to think that CoHo's works are repetitive. There was a scene in Hopeless that was like pulled out of the chapter and pasted in Regretting You with little tweaks. That time Clara had sex with Miller to spite her mother. It is awfully uncomfortable to read that scene. Also, the thing that kept me from marking this as dnf is because I was curious of those letters Morgan found in his husband's toolkit. But she never read them and it was frustrating for a nosy person like me. Damn, she got me so curious with nothing. Anyways, I suck in writing reviews but I actually enjoyed this book because Colleen's writing style is really addictive.
3.5! This was a fun read but frustrating since everything could have been solved by just having an open conversation. It was entertaining though and it was a cute ending

This was deeply, deeply, mid. It was pretty good. But, not as good as everyone else made it out to be.
i had absolutely zero motivation to read this book from the get-go because it simply did not interest me. i was also a tad confused going back and forth between the pov of morgan and clara (mostly with the flashbacks from morgan's teen years) but then i grew a brain and understood so it's fine.
i think the main reason that i was so not excited to continue reading this book was solely because there was nothing happy about it whatsoever. like shit just kept flying south with every damn page turn and it wasn't even like boo hoo you're not getting the love interest you want-- it was straight up shit hit the fan for all the wrong reasons and the reader just gets to sit there crying over the fact everyone is wrong LMFAO.
MOST certainly wanted to throw this book out my window and burn it before i was finished
i'm very pleased with the ending and how the book actually developed to reach that point but .. it was rough. not my fav that coho has put out because it straight up just pissed me off
but i still liked it :)

I have yet to read a Hoover novel and not be surprised by the ending. Always enjoy her books, but this one was so special. Finding your way back to your true love, first love. Unexpected and page-turning. We’ll done (as always), Ms. Hoover.
