Wow…
I understand why this is the best book :’)

This took me a year…A YEAR to read this! I started reading this September 2022 but then I took a break (which turned into a year) bc I wasn’t feeling it but I’m thankful that I tried again.

Iris (fc: Ange José)
- The sunshine of the sunshine!
- She is stronger than me with handling someone like Declan! I wouldn’t even last a day!
- She so strong and always looking at the bright side of things when something goes wrong!

Declan (fc: Alex Badia)
- Honestly what can you say about him there’s literally no words-
- This man was a jerk in the beginning but the way he would do ANYTHING for Iris! Yeah, he stepped up!
- He needs therapy like I hope he does go bc his anger issue will be a problem if it keeps happening.

This book kept getting better and better.

The slow burn was burning slowly the way I like it!

The way Declan kept proving me wrong and making my heart melt with the way he shows care for Iris!

ROWAN AND ZAHARA HOW I MISS YOU!!! Rowan will always have a special place in my heart!

Cal is such a great friend and I’m excited to read his book even though it will be long.

Seth Kane can honestly go to hell bc how can he be so cruel towards his kids!

Overall 5/5 stars! Declan’s action really proved how he has a soft spot for Iris and his actions towards her is so-

This book I love I understand the hype of this book!!!

This book is ok. It has some spicy bites but it was meh to me. However some situations did make me feel some type of emotion so I give it that. Not bad but I feel like it’s kinda very different from book one if I remember correctly. Not sure if a #3 is coming out soon etc

Terms and Conditions was a solid, cutesy romance, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that I’d seen it all before. (not that I was actually expecting to...) That’s not necessarily a bad thing—sometimes a formulaic romance hits just right—but for me, it didn’t fully deliver the spark I was hoping for.

I read along with the audiobook, and unfortunately, the female narrator didn’t enhance the experience. She’s voiced other titles I’ve read (namely Zenny from Sinner by Sierra Simone), and I’ve found her style isn’t my favourite. That might have skewed my feelings, so maybe take that with a grain of salt.

The ending left me with mixed emotions. Of course you have the good ol' grovelling trope, this one felt a bit manipulative, especially with respect to one of the beats regarding an animal. A different approach could have made the conclusion more impactful and emotionally authentic.

Despite my critiques, it was still an enjoyable lighthearted, tropey contemp romance. I could totally see reading T&C as a cozy comfort read.
