Loved the humor in the book. It was an easy read :)
The plot was really interesting and super creative. Wasn't a huge fan of the writing style. Will probably finish the trilogy to see how things turn out.

I finally reread this book after about 10 years and I still absolutely love it! I might be a bit biased as this were one of my young self’s favorite book series, but to me it’s one of the few that seems just as good now as it did the first time I read it!
Gwyneth finds out unexpectedly, by traveling back in time, that it’s she who have inherited the time-traveler gene, not her cousin Charlotte. It doesn’t matter that it’s Charlotte who has been trained for it since birth, while Gwyneth barely knows anything about it at all.
This is the first book of the trilogy, and it’s mainly centered around Gwyneth trying to adopt to being the gene holder, traveling back in time and to the new people being introduced into her life. She’s especially trying to adopt to Gideon, her now time-traveling companion.
To me this is such a good read. I can definitely see what some of the other reviews are saying,
about this being one of the more boring books in the trilogy, but I still very much enjoyed rereading it! I’d definitely give the trilogy a try if you haven’t read it yet, especially if you’d enjoy a small trip into another, in my opinion very interesting, world :)
** One pet peeve! Why change her name in the English version to Gwyneth? Don’t misunderstand, it’s a cool name but to me this was a bit of an annoyance as I knew her as Gwendolyn :p

Meine forever favorite Buchreihe. Habe gestern die Filme gesehen und sie waren so eine große Enttäuschung, daher muss ich diese wundervolle Geschichte nochmal lesen.
Once I got into it I found it very easy to read and I really enjoyed it. The storyline and the characters are well written, the author has given it a lot of thought! Looking forward to the next in the series.
