Bellissimo

I loved this book. I wanted to give it 5 stars but I just couldn't for some reason. This author really made me feel like I was Gwen. I empathized with her the entire book and I loved that. Unfortunately what fell flat for me was Gideon. Now I love me some good fantasy romance but I really didn't feel this one. I felt like Gideon didn't really like Gwen and then suddenly she looked nice and hey now he likes her. I'm not about that. But other than that the book was amazing!

My review of the whole Precious Stone Trilogy can be found: here (Book 3). YA read but still a very refreshing and entertaining series!

When time travel meets sinister plots and teenage love.

While not the most amazingly written book I've ever had, with perhaps a few cliches, that doesn't change that this book had me grasping for the next one. I will not spoil anything but the twist at the end I so called it. Just to put that out there. Aside from fun twists, starting the true plot halfway through the book, Ruby Red is a fun read and great for young readers.
