didn’t love the writing style or world building of this necessarily and found it kinda slow BUT i am intrigued by the plot and ive heard people compare cyrus to arin from jasad heir so i will be continuing this series.
At 50 pages in, I just don’t enjoy this writing style. It was taking all of my concentration to process each sentence, and knowing I wasn’t even 10% through gave me anxiety. I’m sure it’s a great story otherwise it wouldn’t be highly rated but just not for me.
It was boring. And every sentence started with her name. Alizeh do this, Alizeh thought this, Alizeh was, Alizeh had . Every sentence!
Beautifully written, strong character development, all the emotions and feels, and a cliffhanger ending! A little slow paced, but I cannot wait to see where this series goes!
