the beginning had me questioning whether i’ll enjoy it or not. especially that damn prince i did not like him until he had a full conversation with our girl and dare i say he grew on me🙂↕️. i like that she genuinely hates cyrus and has a valid reason for both of them to dislike each other it will make their relationship development much deeper!!!
THE ENDING??? CYRUS???? OH MY GOD. HELLO?? my favorite characters in this series are definitely omid, hazan, cyrus, miss huda and alizeh. kamran was okay, but once cyrus got in the picture, it was game over for him lol. the ending and the last couple of chapters left me speechless, like, what do you mean all of the diviners died? HOW did they die? did cyrus kill them with his magic? (i must've not caught that if he did) AND KING ZAAL EATING CHILDREN TO STAY ALIVE?? MISS TAHEREH MAFI, YOU HAD ME SHAKING. the only reason i give this book 4 stars and not 5 was because of it having too much of the world-building but it definitely did pick up!!! i'm so so happy i read this and gave it a chance!! cyrusalizeh 2024 miss tahereh mafi pls thank u
