The second volume of Heartstopper will keep me reading the series! While the majority of the novel focuses on the budding relationship between Nick and Charlie, author Alice Osman is able to showcase a variety of relationships and queer experiences. From coming out to a parent to enduring hate speech and homophobic to having your first kiss with your crush. Heartstopper is a honest and wholesome read that showcases the queer experience (generalized) in an authentic way.
