think everyone whose engaged is engaged, getting married, or is married should read this book! It has been an enlightening experience for us and we were the couple that said “we know everything about each other”. My fiance and I read it together and it was awesome! We learned so much about each others love language and now check in on each others “love tanks”. Highly recommend!

I have known about the 5 love languages for quite some time and felt like I had a good understanding about them, but have only just picked up the book after getting married recently.
As a Christian myself I found this book very easy to relate to and understand. The language was extremely simple and I really appreciated the real life examples and stories. However, upon reading some other people's reviews it was brought to my attention that many of the examples in the book were of a working husband and a housewife/stay at home wife, which I understand is not the most common situation in this day and age, and something to take into consideration when reading this book.
The stories helped me to understand each love language better and the different dialects that they come in.
If you aren't religious I would still recommend reading this book as it provides great insight into different ways that people feel loved and how to show/demonstrate that type of love. It also highlights what people may do or how they make act if they aren't feeling loved, which is good to know how to identify.
Overall, a pleasant and quick read :)

I enjoyed this book overall and found it quite informative. Tho some of the couples really confused me. Like the wife’s love language is essentially having her husband doing the bare minimum… bro

It was really interesting to know the languages. I hadn't really thought about it, but it makes sense. I still don't know what is mine though, I think it might be Quality time, but I'm not sure.
