I would give this 4 and a half if that were possible. Solid story, got invested in the characters.
Con este libro arranqué con el pie izquierdo. Cuando ví la sinopsis de la historia inmediatamente se me vino a la cabeza Thinner, pero dije YA FUE y le dí una oportunidad. Mi error: Elevación tiene una extensión de 100 páginas y abandoné alrededor de las 40. Estoy desconcertada porque SK tiene libros mejores y peores (cómo todos los autores) pero siempre me entretiene. Éste no termina de funcionar para mí, tanto que de hecho ni lo pude terminar.
I’d probably say 3.75 if that’s a legit allowed rating- because I enjoyed Elevation, like that was so freaking random and the fact that he just lost weight and floated off- it’s kind of creepy in the most amazing weird way.
This was my first Stephen King read and truthfully, it was just so random that it’s keeping me intrigued for what the others hold.

A very quick read. I enjoy virtually anything by Stephen King. This was pleasant enough, but not a game-changer. Glad that I received it as a gift and didn't pay the full sticker price. It feels like this could have been the introductory chapters to a more interesting book. Meh.
The intrigue of the concept stumbles over the too quick pace, which makes the characters read as both too stiff at times and too neatly redeemed in others
I really liked this book. Although I wish it were bigger still a good book for some light reading out in the sun
