I stopped more than once to check whether this was actually written by King. It's... okay. It's an okay novella. I picked it because it was short, I'm not bothered by the length. The characters were one-dimensional, the message delivered heavy -handedly. I don't know. The supernatural element was fun but the characters were hard to read as actual people rather than characters in a book.
