This book was good for what it was meant to be. As just a fiction book to entertain you, ehh not that great. As a book to tell you something about life and people, pretty good. Very quick and easy, and definitely things you can pull from it to chew over

Damn... This was sad. I know some people don't like this short story, but I think it's really good. It has King's very readable writing and I really like how he writes passing and these things with a certain lightness. Loved the characters, loved the story. I thought it was going to turn around in the end, but sometimes these things don't I suppose.

A couple of great short stories, wonderfully spun and captivating. I just could not put this down.

I read this book last year, but I never got around to writing a review of it. Which is a shame, because I liked it so much. So I figured I'd write a review now. Of course, I had to read it again. Right? I mean that would be only fair. Right?

It is even better the second time around.

A very quick, short read. You can definitely see the difference from his older work to this more recent novel. I think it was a nice comparison reading 2 of his books, from different ends of the scale, side by side. Whilst pet sematary was dark, twisted and scary, this was sweet, mysterious and charming.
It was the perfect length. I think I would have struggled to continue this book had it been a longer novel as the storyline didn't really have enough for it to be a longer story.
