I'm not sure why King decides to constantly feel the need to inject his political beliefs, along with his stereotyping and prejudice of conservative people. It had nothing to do with the book's content, and if left out, could have been a much more pleasant read. I get he has the right to do that, but he's abandoning some of his fans and it doesn't add to the book whatsoever.

A surprisingly moving story about friendship, death and living. A story that non-King fans will enjoy. I loved the ending.

Never thought I would call a King book …. cute, but here we are. Not perfect, not deeply profound, no meanness or vulgarity. If it weren’t for a couple references I would question the authorship. Honestly, though I was happy to have read it, and I am happy to see that an author of his class can write a QUICK happy story like this. Did I mention quick… I had this finished before my daily dose of coffee.
