So I read this quite quickly, but forgot to mark it as finished and give it a review! What a great little story. Quote the Stephen King twist on something we take for granted in life.
Interesting characters and premise, but lost focus towards the end of the story. Nice to have a quick SK read though (rare).
picked this up on a whim at the library, what an interesting and deep little story.
Charming. You could argue it is schmaltzy in places but if struck me as rather sincere. It put me in mind of Ray Bradbury and Richard Matheson. A quick read too.
It was okay. I'm not a fan of short stories and I didn't realize this was a couple of short stories.

Loved that the audiobook was read by the author. Not fond of the explanation behind what was going on. There was never any reasoning. I did like the acceptance and peace felt at the end.
