It breaks my heart to say it but this was honestly such a disappointing end to the elfhame series. I devoured the stolen heir but this took me ages to finish and I was bored by the end. Oak is a confusing character and his primary motivation is his love for Wren, but their relationship felt undeveloped and based mostly on their connection as children. It was also hard to see Oak as a romantic figure and not just Jude’s baby brother. Bogdana is also an exceptionally annoying antagonist - supposedly veryyy powerful but she never felt scary, just irritating
