Igazából 4.5, de a lényeg, hogy roppant szórakoztató, cuki kis könyv volt, mert benne volt minden amit szeretek, plusz a West End, angol humor és tea.
Jöhet a következő.

Just when you think this British romance may not be for you, in walks a Mr. Darcy-type character and you’re hooked. Richard and Lainie are actors in the same play. Richard’s popularity is declining because of his real life snarky, sarcastic attitude. The play organizers decide to set up a fake romance between the two in hopes of raising Richard’s ratings. One thing leads to another and the fake romance turns into the real thing.

I read Pretty Face a few months ago and absolutely loved it, yet hadn't really given a thought as to reading the first book in the series. I'm glad I waited so I could appreciate how wonderful this book is without a strong recall of #2 because they're both fantastic. Actual favourites.

Pretty good book. I liked the journey of the characters. Wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad. A good enemies-lovers story set in the entertainment industry.

I enjoyed the book, but I still don't know why the characters ended up together.
I enjoyed their banter and the pacing, but there was still something missing for me.

Act Like It was a fantastic read. It’s a hate to love romance. The banter is on point. I guess it is an office romance that takes place on the stage since they both act for the same play. It’s set in London. I’m been enjoying books that are set there lately. It’s a perfectly fun and endearing story. I’m probably not the first person to recommend it to you, but you should read it.

My sister-in-law Belinda recommended this book to me ages ago, and I should not have waited so long to jump in! As someone who is pretty picky about contemporary romance, I loved that this series is set in the world of London stage actors. And I cannot resist the fake relationship trope! Lainie is recovering from a humiliating public breakup when the powers that be at the theater determine that in order to rehabilitate the public image of her crotchety costar Richard, he and Lainie have to pretend to date. They’re hoping that she’s wholesome enough to tame his cranky bad-boy reputation. Of course, Richard is an a-hole and has never given Lainie the time of day, so it’s going to require all her acting skills to convince everyone they’re in love. Until they fall in love for real, that is! *swoon* Looking forward to the next book in the series!

London. Theatre. Snappy banter. Pop culture and lit references. Contemporary wit. How could I resist?

Sassy, satisfying, escapist fun. Looking forward to introducing this author into our collections and to our readers.
