This series! This series is turning out to be everything I didn’t even know I needed. Karla Sorensen delivers on all the things I love the best: the chemistry, the banter, the sweet steady burn that holds my heart in thrall and keeps my greedy little reader heart hungry for more. Floored delivered on all those things – and more! I loved it so much! I absolutely love the entire Ward family, and this book just solidified that love for them. This family just seems to make me all emotional while reading and this story was no different!

I AM IN LOVE WITH LIA AND JUDE!!!! I could not get enough of them. These two were BRILLIANT! They not only had immediate and intense chemistry but they form a deep emotional connection that made them an incredible couple. I was hooked right from the start. I LOVE the surprise pregnancy trope. Add in TONS of chemistry, a great build up, ALL the feels, and a storyline that is so easy, and you have Floored . Just AMAZING from start to finish! This book was everything that I love in romance. There was swoon, passion and emotions that made me want to curl up and cry.

Karla keeps outdoing herself and I’m so in love with her writing. Floored was another fantastic read and I am falling deeper and deeper in love with the Ward family. This story was so heartwarming and touching, and the epilogue absolutely melted my heart. I am enjoying every second I get to spend in their romances and I absolutely cannot wait for Isabel’s story!

This book got me. If there is one thing I understand, it's becoming a mother after being abandoned by a parental unit... And I felt Lia to my core! I love books with familial connection (even unexpected ones), sweet romance, a story that can make me feel things! This definitely did it.

Lia & Jude
  • studying abroad and one night stand with famous soccer player
  • pregnancy trope

Lia is studying abroad for the semester in England, where her literary idols the Bronte sisters hail from, but she finds herself homesick. Her twin sister convinces her to go out to a pub, make friends and have fun. Lia finds herself in a pub waiting out a storm when an Adonis, Jude, walks into the pub. They start bantering back and forth about which football is better and one thing leads to another. A month later Lia realizes that Jude may have left her with more than just pleasant memories of their night together.

This was my first book by this author and I am hooked. I loved the flow and pacing of this story. I loved the way that Jude and Lia's story played out. I loved that they made their own rules and did things their way. I loved that Jude messed up royally and owned it. I loved how they connected and were both in it together. I also loved the way that the conflict played out - even if it broke my heart. I felt that it was perfect and played out perfectly. I adored all things Jude and Lia. I will be picking up more books from this author for sure.

Carino però niente di così originale, letto perché voglio completare la serie che parla delle sorelle Ward.
emotional

Good story.
Heroine of this book is twin sister of heroine in previous book.
I don't think it overly matters if this is your first book in the series but there are conversations with previous characters from previous books.
Non man-whore Hero.
Neither are virgins.
ONS resulting in pregnancy.
The couple meet feel an instant physical chemistry but also connect over snark of British football versus Americans calling it soccer.
During brief time of ONS and her telling him she's pregnant, it's a month I think, both are busy with work/career.

His past
'
"Don't get me wrong, my brother hasn't dated anyone of consequence in years. And even when he did, back when he was first in the league, it was exactly the kind of woman he shouldn't have been with. They fawned over him, and it just ... it didn't help keep his feet on the ground. And Jude struggles as it is to do anything else with life beyond football, so people like that make it worse."'

No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
No other woman or man drama.
No cheating or flirting with anyone else.
HEA.
Epilogue.
