Didn't really understand their "falling out", but it was a good book and now I'm gonna go read the sisters' books because I need more of this family asap
It was okay not great but fine. Lol don’t believe that this is a hate to love book because 0% of it is. It’s a pregnancy romance with a weird middle.
DNF @69%. Most comments say that they didn't care for Jude, but I had no care in the world for Lia. She whined so much, yes she was prego - I get it but come on. Your 22 years old and about to receive your masters degree and your literally distraught about telling your sisters your pregnant. Ugh. maybe im being very picky, Idk. I never read any of the other books so this is my first book from this author. I just couldn't make it thru. The surprise pregnancy trope is actually one of my favorites too, so i was pretty excited about this BUT this was a waste of my time and I'm actually annoyed that I read 69% of this.

Wow
This is probably my favorite of this series (so far, at least). Lia and Jude’s relationship was amazing. I loved the growth between the characters as they found out how to manage their feelings. This was a very gentle, yet endearing love story.

Jude and Lia. Lia is in England for school. Jude is a professional footballer. One night stand leads to an unexpected pregnancy. Lia has an overwhelming family, Jude barely has a relationship with his parents. She fills his family void and he almost loses her. HEA.
I absolutely LOVE the Ward family and would give anything to be able to read about them forever. Honestly, they are probably one of my top 3 book families.
I can with certainty say that Karla Sorensen has quickly become one of my to-go authors whenever I want to read an amazing book with outstanding characters and I have reread her books countless times.
With that said, "Floored" was a great read, BUT I had issues with Lia and Jude's relationship. Namely the same problem as Lia herself pointed out - they didn't really know each other. At all. So for me the book lost its important chemistry when their relationship was stuck at a standstill throughout a big part of the book.
Also, I needed a LOT more scenes with the Ward family. In my opinion, there could never be too much scenes with the whole gang together.
On another note, DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW EXCITED I AM FOR ISABEL AND AIDEN'S BOOK?!

Well, I’ve run out of Ward Sisters books to read and this makes me sad. Fortunately, the fourth book isn’t that far off. Surprise baby isn’t a go-to trope for me, but it’s one I tend to enjoy when I do read it. Floored was no exception. Jude and Lia had smokin hot chemistry and they were so easy to root for. Great read.
