Book 60 for 2025! 4/5 stars for this YA mystery/thriller read. Unlikeable characters all around. Nice and twisty!

Read this for my beloved Rhi and I am so happy that I did.

When I say I genuinely feel gaslighted after reading this… I mean it.

I will be consuming all of Rhi’s favourite books. Trust.

This book stressed me out!!!! I had to read it because I loved “That’s Not My Name,” down of course. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it took me a little while to get into it at the beginning. The set up of the story took awhile, but it was almost necessary, as there was lots of layers to the prestigious drama and horror that was taking place. Also I did somewhat guess the plot twist…not entirely…but I knew she was being set up by Jena. I could feel it in my bones very early on. Does that mean it was predictable? Maybe…..but I think I just know a two-faced girl when I see one. It’s up in there with that one. I did not however, expect Dylan to be so involved in Brooke’s inevitable demise. That one threw me a little bit. All in all, another fabulous job by Megan Lally. I’ll be waiting for her to write more books!
