took me a while to get into it (about 20%) and i thought i was going to dnf but then i ended up reading 80% or more of the book in one night.

I wish I could give this book 10 stars. My best read this year by far! The story is simply so real. The emotions expressed are raw and nearly every page moved me. Please look up trigger warnings though!!

At times an exhilirating read! The characters are beautifully crafted with each given their own interesting backstory. Since perspectives change between the different characters we get to put ourselves in all their shoes (the perspective switches might have been too frequent even). The chapters/passages with Frank & Cleo are real page-turners and carry the book in my opinion.

i found the writing style so easy to read, which was such a strength because it is not an easy read otherwise. i actually liked the characters but i thought it was a shame that some of the side characters got meh endings, no real conclusion for their story
