This book was so fun! I enjoyed the way Christie wrote all the short mysteries into the bigger story. Also, I said it before, but I’ll say it again: I love Tommy and Tuppence!! All I want in life now is my own Tommy.

Fun followup to the first novel, although some confusion in wanting to know the details: how much time has passed between stories, how old they are.
I like how Christie had Tommy and Tuppence model themselves on different book detectives each story (though I hadn't heard of all of them), including her own Poirot.

Definitely my favorite of Christie’s short story collections so far. I’m not sure if that’s due to how fun Tommy and Tuppence are as protagonists, or the handy overarching story that ties all the different short stories together, but it’s the only one I could read the entirety of in one sitting without getting bored with the ever changing plots and settings. I also did enjoy the duo mimicking many famous fictional detectives throughout (not that I recognized half of them!)
Picked up a collection of Agatha Christie novels to read here and there since I liked them when I was younger. I didn't read the summaries or anything so I didn't anticipate this one being essentially collection of shorter investigations instead of 1 big plot. The mysteries were cute but so short it was hard to care. The best part was the 2 main characters/detectives a married couple with fantastic banter. I believe she has some more works with them that aren't short stories. I think I would like that better.
