A great start to a new series and I'm here for it! Hart and Sadie have a first meet up that is full of fire and there's a strong pull right out of the gate. I enjoyed their story, their growing relationship, the secrets, and how they manage the ups and downs that go along with that. They story worked well, kept me involved, and loving all of the characters. I'm already curious about the rest of the Weston siblings and ready to dig in to more!
Of course Marni starts off her new book, and series, with a bang. Literally. There is no slow burn when it comes to her books and I'm all for that.
Sadie and Hart first meet at a new restaurant in the area. They happen to be at the bar at the same time and strike up conversation. Hart gives her his full first name (Lockhart) so she has no clue he's Hart Weston, one of the Weston siblings that own a mecca of businesses in the hospitality industry. The two hit it off great that night but Sadie leaves before numbers and true identities are exchanged. A week later, they're in the same place at the same time again and the heat gets just as hot between the two of them.
The way Hart falls hard and fast for Sadie, when he's never even thought about being a relationship kind of guy, was just so sweet. He wants nothing else but time with Sadie. Sadie falls for him as well but has her own secret that she can't disclose for multiple reasons.
I loved being introduced to the Weston family in this series. We've heard about them in previous series written by Marni but it's great their stories are now being told. I'll just be over here not so patiently waiting for the rest of the series.

Oh my word this was insanely hot at the very beginning. I mean Hart is definitely arrogant and it was very apparent when he hit on Sadie. I was so into this story , it almost made me swoon after hearing the first 6 chapters. Who am I kidding there was so much steam and my ears and head loved it. One night turned into many and when they discovered who they were I was so surprised with how it ended. I couldn’t stop listening the narrators oh my lord were oh so good with this pair. They just made these characters so realistic I absolutely loved listening to them .

Ok! Lockhart just moved into the number one slot for Marni Mann book boyfriends. After one night where they meet at a restaurant both with different agendas does everything change for the better. How their life runs together and the journey both have to go on with coming clean about their pasts to the other one. The author does a fantastic job to keep you on the edge of your seat. The attention to detail in their direct conversations or the banter with the side characters. The worlds the author builds just keeps getting better and seeing it developed is my favorite thing. Feeling like you are apart of it all is the best feeling.

Is it hot in here because Marni Mann really brought the heat with this one! Hart and Sadie start out with the one night stand to top all one night stands! I could not get over that whole entire scene, Hart's dirty mouth, and Sadie's desire to be a naughty girl! Not only was their first encounter perfect, but Hart falls hard for her and I loved all of the coincidental additional meetings they had which really helped bring out the smoking hot chemistry these two had together. The story flowed so well that I devoured it.
Vanessa Edwin and Aiden Snow completely blew me away with their audio performances. It was rich and sultry, dirty and delicious at the same time and absolutely perfect for Sadie and Hart.
