What a great start to a new series!! I was hooked from the very beginning!! It was a true one sit read! I couldn’t put it down!! This author always brings the spice in her books and this one was no different! She is still the reigning spice queen in my eyes! While spicy I loved the story! I absolutely loved Hart and Sadie! This is definitely one of those reads that when you get to the end you will be bummed that it is over! I know I was! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of the series!!! So if you’re in the mood for a spicy, alpha hero, billionaire, one night stand, hidden identity romance look no further!

Well, well, well. this was my first Marni Mann book and wowza, but it did not disappoint in the slightest. from the very beginning, it was 0 to 60 in 2 chapters. haha
I loved that these two were both prepared for their one night stand. fate had different plans. Lockheart and Sadie matched each other in every way. I very much enjoyed this book. The family banter between the brothers and their sister is top tier. my goodness, the fun and playfulness even between Heart and Sadie is great. overall, I enjoyed this book it was such a great intor into this new series, and I can't wait for the next one.

Oh my heart!!! These narrators were finaminal. They totally nailed their characters, and I honestly loved every second! Aiden foes such a good job portraying the cocky bad boy persona. add in billionaire and Aiden is perfection. Vanessa litterally can do no wrong. period end of story! I love everything she does and has always captured my attention! pairing these two together is a treat and they work well together!

The start of a new series from Marni Mann featuring characters who will be familiar to regular readers as The Weston Group begins with The Arrogant One featuring Hart Weston and a seriously sizzling one night stand. You’ve got to love when the chemistry between a couple is so strong they both forget why they’re somewhere in the first place but one look at Sadie Spencer and Hart fell hook, line and sinker for her till the next morning he woke to find Sadie had made like Cinderella and disappeared. But fate wasn’t quite finished with them placing them in each other’s path once again and this time Hart wasn’t about to let her escape. Obviously they were more interested in making out like a couple of minks in a sack or they would’ve spent more time actually communicating about the little things in life like names and what they did for a living but where would’ve been the fun in that although they might’ve discovered the major conflict between them that could possibly be enough to split them up.
With her alpha, dirty mouthed heroes and strong, independent heroines, nobody builds sexual tension and chemistry between a couple quite like this author. You can almost feel the pages of the book heat up in your hands as you read, there was so much passion and chemistry between Hart and Sadie. As usual, the writing was first class with a fantastic flow to it and some drama to balance out the steam factor. I loved that readers where ‘in on their secrets’ even though Hart’s was more down to a misunderstanding than any intention to mislead while Sadie was living in blissful ignorance of just how much of an impact her secret could have on her professional reputation and even her career until she discovered his real name. With the customary family dynamics, I’m looking forward to reading more from the Weston siblings and I can already see hints of who will win Weston’s heart in what I’m guessing will be a tempestuous kitchen affair if I’m right.

Well this was my first Marni Mann, and let me tell you it won’t be the last! I’ve been reading a few closed door recently and I was in the mood for something a little spicier and Marni did not disappoint 🥵
I adored Hart and Sadie. Their chemistry was instantaneous and I loved how they met. I honestly really enjoyed their story and how it all played out. I loved the Weston Family dynamic.
🎧 Aiden Snow and Vanessa Edwin were great as Hart and Sadie. Two of my favorites and they were perfect for bringing these two characters to life!
I can’t wait to go back and read more Marni and to continue with this series!
