Slow to action, decent finish. The first half of the book seemed unnecessary given what took place to end the book. It continues to the story of Katniss vs. The Capital and does so decently leaving a desire to finish up the trilogy with the last book.

Great continuation of the first book! Although I wasn’t sure which direction the plot would take and if I would like this resumption of the Games, I was especially pleasantly surprised by the ending. That cliff hanger though! :]
