YES!!! This was all I was hopping for after the two first books! I felt bad for liking Tobias but now I like him even more. Is just that this book is DARK, and he isn't good. At all. But inside this narrative, he is soooo good and I loved their connection so much. And most of all, I'm super satisfied with the ending.

This series really took me by surprise. Because of the rating I wasn't expecting much, but this last book was amazing!

If you have read the other titles in this series then you will understand what an emotional ride this has been. If you haven't read any of them then you are missing out on one of the best Omegaverse stories on the market. None of the books have been happy feel good stories, so I wasn't expecting this one to be any different. That assumption was correct, but it still blew me away with it's beauty and the emotional aspect. I wasn't sure how this one was going to end, but Ms. Dresden wrapped it all up in a bow. It might not have been a shiny bow, but it was a bow just the same.

Quinn and Tobias haven't had an easy time, and their ending isn't any different. It's full of pain, sorrow, and mistrust, but there is also hope, passion, caring, and even love. The number of secrets and surprises didn't stop until the last chapter and I was kept on the edge of my seat with guessing what was going to happen next. Parts of the story brought tears to my eyes, but there were some moments of dark humor that lightened it a little. Because the story reads like a continuous book I think the best way to enjoy them is one right after the other, which is what I plan on doing now that the series is complete.

I'm simultaneous floating though empty space, devoid of all sensation and standing in the middle of a riotous explosion of colour and emotion.

If you’ve got this far, in the trilogy, then you know just what to expect … or do you? This is written with the same unique voice that characterised both Broken and Damaged. Eva Dresden's writing is akin to a complex symphony, one where the full orchestra is playing a multitude of notes that blend into one harmonious tune. However to experience the subtle nuances of tone and texture that each individual instrument brings you have to listen carefully. You have to focus and tease apart the various sounds until you identify the core of the music. And in the same way I found myself re-reading some paragraphs and phrases in order to truly appreciate and value the depth and meaning of them.

She felt alive. On fire and alight in the night dark sky, another star among the heavens. Soaring through a tempest raging around her.

I'm normally a quick reader, more concerned with taking in the overall shape and look of the masterpiece, but that isn't possible with this book. That would lead to me missing the delicate touches of colour, the subtle shades and tones, the careful brushstrokes that build layer upon layer in order to create an image so powerful that it leaves one speechless. To fully appreciate the sophisticated and intricate imagery created by the author's powerful writing, I found myself having to slow myself down and concentrate, and yet not once did I feel irritated by having to do this. At no point did I feel aggrieved that I had to read a sentence again, the reason being that it wasn't due to poor writing. In fact, quite the opposite is true. The writing is so wondrous that it deserves, nay demands, attention be paid to it.

I loved that neither character ‘lost’ anything of who they truly were, whilst at the same time managing to both grew and adapted. To our eyes Tobias' treatment of Quinn was horrendous when he first took her, and it only got worse. However not only was it part of how their world works, but he did eventually earn his forgiveness. Quinn stayed strong in her fight to retain a sense of self, though she did hover on the edge of weakness on other matters.

She believed what he said. Knew that he would rip this city apart if anything should happen to them. There was something to that, an emotion she didn't want to give close inspection. It was hot, volatile ... comforting.

Tobias, pig-headed alpha male that he is, thought burning the world to the ground should have been enough for Quinn to understand her place, her importance, in his life. However, to Quinn, all it made her feel like was a possession not a person. All she desired was to be listened to. Tobias tries his best to show Quinn how he feels but, in a society where an Alpha's feelings are a weakness to be exploited, it isn't always as easy as it sounds.

"Then you cry for me, Quinn. You let it out where I can't."
Holding her all the tighter, Tobias tucked the blankets closer and smoothed his palme over her har.
Cradling her as she sobbed his sorrow out for him.

As a ruling Alpha, Tobias', and therefore his family's, lives are constantly at risk. However the true source of that peril came from an unexpected quarter. It wasn't a total surprise, since the author heavily foreshadows the culprit, but I was surprised that we didn't see the return of a more familiar face. I liked that some loose ends were left to our own imaginations to complete, that reasons and explanations for past events weren't always interlinked, that there were many enemies, not just one.

I loved that Tobias didn't change how he did business, or what business he did. His position and power did not allow him to become some soft, caring do-gooder. To keep Quinn, Adam and Elise safe he HAD to be the bad guy, there was no choice in his continuing to rule with violence and terror. I loved that Quinn loved him despite this, and that with Quinn, he could be the man she needed and deserved.

The conclusion

I loved this omega story. Leaves off with an HEA. Lots of sex and violence if that’s your thing. I hope the saga continues !

What an incredible ride it's been!! Destroyed (Omega's Destruction Book Three) concludes Tobias and Quinn's journey...and....wow.

I feel worn out reading this series hehe. It's been a ride of heartache, joy, fear, uncertainty... yeh just...wow. All of the feelz you could think of and [a:Eva Dresden|19033075|Eva Dresden|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1561679276p2/19033075.jpg] pretty much did it all in this amazing series!

Our story comes to a conclusion - Saved from her captors Quinn tries to get to grips with living again with her family, her kids and her overbearing Alpha.
But Quinn is very damaged, which is understandable - and together they have to find better ways to deal with their emotions because as much as Tobias loves and cares for Quinn, he is still an Alpha - a very powerful one and not used to this new situation of Quinn's PTSD and fear.
He has to re-think his own behaviour, and Quinn is desperate to keep their distance - not wanting to understand her feelings but wants to hide from reality.

Through twists and turns, a character death that leaves them both in mourning - we finally find out what it is that is making Quinn so very very ill. And let me tell you, my jaw dropped at this sudden change! So well done to Eva for that - I had absolutely NO IDEA and NEVER saw that plot twist coming!!

In this third and last instalment - we def. get a better look at Tobias and also a better look into Quinn's feelings. I really loved their scenes and I could not get enough.

Adam and Elise was just so cute and I loved Quinn's protectiveness of them. Like a lioness really, and it fit perfectly in with what I like of tropes in the Omegaverse.

“I don’t think I’m an Alpha, Mama,” Elise said, spindly legs kicking in wide arcs as she admired her knuckles. “Robert Dawson said I smell pretty.” “Elise, sweetheart, this is very important.” Quinn cupped her daughter’s chin, tilting it up until pale gray could meet the deep green so like her father’s. “Do not, under any circumstances, tell your father that.” “Why?” “Because he’ll kill us all.” “Oh, okay. Can I have a pudding?”

Because even as broken as Quinn is after book 2 - there is nothing in this world that will stop her if anyone should ever dear to threaten her young.

Quinn is such a strong female and absolutely perfect for Tobias. As her mind gets better - it is clear she is not going to let him just take control and walk all over her any more - naha - no. Quinn has a voice and Tobias better listen! :)

There is a bonus chapter epilogue when you subscribe to Eva's newsletter - which I ofc. did because this series is so amazing and I def. want to follow her for her new releases.

The bonus chapter was so so wonderful and I hope that this isn't the last we see of Tobias, Quinn and the kids. <3

Great story

This was just what I needed. Dark and twisted omegaverse is my favorite. Ideally though Quinn was a strong omega that defied the odds. Five stars

I won't rate this, as it would have to be a bad rate, due to content and how problematic "relationships" are in these books.

However, in spite of all of those issues, it had a somewhat interesting plot and the characters were also written in a good way.

The smut, as always, was impeccable!!! ahahhahahahha
