New fan to the Will Trent books. I read "Pieces of Her" by Slaugher and really enjoyed it, then Fractured and liked the character of Will Trent. When I realized there were others, well I had to get on that!
Just my kind of book; mystery, betrayal, murder, some good bad guys and bad good guys.

Slaughter is such a master of the surprise. As I was reading this I kept asking my friends if they read it so I could talk about the twists and turns and surprises - there was one that absolutely took my breath away and I had to set the book down for a while to process it. (Didn’t set it down for too long though because I had to find out more!) This was such an interesting thriller / suspense / mystery, but be forewarned that it’s pretty graphic and disturbing (as I feel like is Slaughter’s wont). One of the character’s perspectives surprised me by how much I enjoyed reading those sections, and I’m curious to read more of the Will Trent series to see how other characters are written.

Pretty good start .. reminded me of Stephen King writing don't know if it was just me. Really enjoyed it except in the middle it dragged out a little.
