No estaba muy segura sobre este libro. Las reseñas en este sitio van desde una hasta 5 estrellas, así que no esperaba mucho, sin embargo a mí me gustó. Le di cuatro estrellas porque no ha sido mi favorito, pero si disfrutas le arte muy probablemente te va a gustar, sus constantes alusiones a obras de arte y arquitectura hacen que realmente disfrutes de su lectura. Aunque no conozco Italia siento que conocí una parte maravillosa a través de este libro.
This was a fairly typical Dan Brown book with all of the "necessary" twists and turns. It was a fine read and a nice way to fill some hours but at this point the guy really is writing off of a checklist it seems. I know DaVinci and Angels & Demons follow the same basic structure but I found them more enjoyable, possibly because they delved a tad deeper into the art and history. I'd rate both of them higher than this with The Lost Symbol coming in after them but before this book. I won't go into a point by point plot synopsis but, bottom line, if you like Brown's stuff, you'll like this. Perhaps not as much as the others but it gets the job done.
What a fun and haunting thriller! I finished Demonology just before beginning this book, so I was ready to emerge myself in more. The commonality between these books is their connection to literature - Demonology to Milton's Paradise Lost and Inferno to Dante's Inferno. Inferno is not so much about demons, but chase and exploration to save the world from potential destruction. I do enjoy the recurring character, Robert Langdon, in Brown's books. Like a nerdier Indiana Jones solving academic puzzles to save the day. Full of twists and turns - trust no one! For me, Inferno raised more moral and ethical questions that plagued me (pun intended...you'll get it if you read it) throughout the book. A little bit scary if you really consider how close we can be to destroying our world and environment! Fun, fast paced read!
Finally someone that doesn't put a taboo on overpopulation :-)

Dan Brown non è più una novità, ha ormai sparato tutte le sue cartuccie. Il libro precedente a questo, ambientato a Washigton, l'avevo apprezzato moltissimo, al contrario di Inferno.
Non si può dire che sia brutto, i luoghi sono ben descitti, la curiosità sale, i pezzi di storia sono molto interessanti e mi hanno fatto venire voglia di fare un bel viaggio nelle città descritte però la trama in sè non è troppo avvincente, pareggiata con gli altri.
Forse se questo fosse stato il primo libro di Dan Brown l'avrei apprezzato moltissimo, però ora so già dove vuole arrivare, i tranelli che inventa, la suspense tipica dei suoi libri, etc
Non voglio rivelare spoiler però ammetto che alcune cose sono abbastanza prevedibili.
Concludendo lo trovo un bel libro da leggere come guida turistica delle città citate e come passatempo sotto l'ombrellone.
