I’m sorry folks, it’s just not well written. when there are dual perspectives, i expect to get new info about the characters relationship. i got that in 150 pages, but this book goes on for THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY MORE. and i just can’t believe that grown adults in the same family/friend group avoid having a conversation for 11 years only to become friends and start fucking within a week. it’s all very unreasonable.

This is a book I started and stopped 10x because the thought of falling in love with deceased husband's best friend pissed me off but, this was so well written and I'm glad I finished it.
