Sloane and Nic’s story was very good. You could feel Sloane’s grief and hesitation of moving on after her husband’s death. And there were times I just wanted to scream at Nic to tell her the truth.

Dual POV. lol to Drake being the artist playing at the club. Ages: she’s 30 and based on them both being in college together I would think he’s about the same age. Ugh I love a man that’s down bad. And the angst we get to feel from him? So good.

This book was extremely wordy. I wish there was more actual dialogue between the characters. I appreciated understanding where the mindset of the characters but often thought it was a bit much. I also wish there were less steamy scenes so we could focus on the story telling and dynamic of the characters.
