I loved Vengeful! Vicious dragged a bit as a read to me, but I'm glad I stuck with it as this one was so engaging. There's so much going on: the culmination of YEARS of Victor and Eli's enmity, the budding obsession between June and Sydney, Marcella is her own warning, and Director Stell trying to stop them all being chaotic murder happy little bastards. I would definitely read more about these characters in particular if VES wrote more! The ending seemed open enough that it could be continued one day.

In love with the way she spins this hero vs villain but actually they're all villains complex.

It took me longer to get into than the first book because of the number of storylines and timeline jumps, but holy cow I couldn't put the book down at the end!

I feel like this book really showed her style of holding off on sharing backstory until it's contextually relevant to the behavior of a character. I'm finding myself really enjoying that style of writing!

Excited to try another series of hers!
