I am satisfied with this book, as I feel it is a big improvement from the second one. While I am still not a fan of Grey or Lia Mara's parts, the book had me stuck in it until I was finished. In my opinion is it not on the same level as the first, but this is redeeming from the second one.

Better than the second book, BUT.

The final battle scene with the enchantress was so anti-climatic. For a series that revolved around her being the villain, she was just…gone. Very easily. It easily disappointing that there wasn’t more to that scene.

bro imagine suffering under a curse that turns you into a monster that murders your whole family and kingdom only to be betrayed by your secret first-born brother (who was also your keeper during the curse and literally kidnapped women from different realms to fall in love with you to break said curse) who goes on to knock up the enemy queen and also take your throne
(tldr; I HATE a series where the first book feels inconsequential by the end :/ )

Wow. I am stunned at the conclusion of this trilogy but part of me hopes that there will be more.
