couldn’t even finish this, struggled with the last book too. a very infuriating read
I really liked this series. Shifting the focus of characters for book two kept my focus, and book three brought it all back together. The story was interesting, the characters were interesting and I enjoyed seeing them grow. There are certainly things I could find fault with and pick apart, but since this was a nice trilogy escape from reality I'm going to let it go.
The other two books were good but this one? Oh blew me out of the water. The ENDING! The series is worth the read for sure

It was really fun to dive into the final installment of this series. I’ve been constantly impressed by how readable this series is and this book was no exception. Sometimes it’s fun to just fly through a book!
I think for a final book in a series, I wanted more closure than I got, especially for Rhen. Grey definitely grew on me throughout the series and I was really excited to see the way his arc turned out. But Rhen felt so morally grey, so traumatized that I still wasn’t sure how I felt about him when the book ended and after reading 3 400+ page books about him, I wanted to feel a little more secure. I was happy to see how the series ended and I already miss the characters!

Lilith’s abuse was sometimes just too much. Like it started off horrific in the first book, so I felt like by the third everything she did had to be over the top treacherous which read a bit like trauma p*rn.I was happy to see how the series ended and I already miss the characters!
FINALLY OVER OMG. Bored me senseless. Clawed my way through at top speed so it would be over sooner. Now I'm free

A satisfying conclusion to the series, though it does leave me wondering…is there a fourth book?
