Okay YES to expecting a certain ending until the very last few pages. This is what “His & Hers” delivered.
Throughout the entire read, I was trying so hard to figure out the villain…and it’s definitely not who I expected to be. The different perspectives and voices it is narrated in makes it even more engaging. I was never once bored, and no slow burn at all. It was a perfect pace & build up.
This is by far my favorite murder mystery yet

Not sure how I feel about this book.
SPOILERS!!
So an elderly woman with cancer is out there killing women in their 30s and getting away with it? Hmm. Seems a bit hard to believe.
Also - trigger warning - the book discusses the death of a child.

Amateurish, pretentious drivel with the most insane, stupid ending plot twist I've ever read. I would've laughed out loud had I not been in a library. The fact that this is getting 4-5 star reviews makes me feel like I'm living in some kind of mirror world clown dimension. There's no way anyone thought this was genuinely clever, right? I've literally read fanfiction written better than this.

Absolutely phenomenal book!!! I raced through this book and enjoyed every minute of it, I actually suspected the murderer a couple times during the story but the author throws in so many twists and turns I was confused what to believe!

I am usually the best detective and figure out the thriller before the end, I wasn’t close to guessing this. A little unrealistic but still a fun quick thriller.

3.5 stars. I usually don’t do half stars but I can’t help it with this one because it isn’t a 3 or a 4 for me. The first 150 pages felt like the book was going in circles and not going anywhere. Then all of a sudden BAM everything starts happening. I did like the story overall, and all of the twists and turns, plus that it kept me guessing who the killer was.
Such a fun and twisty ride! I love the small town trope and how everything comes together in the end. The character development was good as well. Not my favorite of her books but I love how nothing is left unexplained.
