Maybe my favourite Alice Feeney that I've read so far? I thought she did a really nice job of planting clues on just about everyone you meet, keeping all the doors open. The resolution was satisfying, the back & forth in perspectives with the killer's stream of consciousness all worked really well for me.

Closer to 3.25 stars. I’m used to the Alice Feeney twist, and have enjoyed several other titles by her, but I figured this one out, and the underlying content that drove the revenge plot was a little too uncomfortable for my liking (not that I can’t do difficult topics; it just didn’t sit right with me in this context for some reason). I wanted to like it more, but overall it’s meh.

This kept me guessing right up until the end, there were so many twists and misdirections! You have to suspend disbelief a little at the end when the killer is revealed, but overall this was an enjoyable read.
