I really wanted to love this but I just found it so meh

It’s one I wish I could read again just to feel the jaw dropping shocks again.

All right this book was a fucking trip. And you definitely need to travel it. Highly recommend this thriller. I literally thought everybody was the murderer and it would change three times for chapter.

Wow this book. I literally thought many times I knew who the murders was and it took me to the end to actually know who did it. So many twists and turns. Good book!
amazing plot twists, suspenseful and scary. completely disturbing and horrific and sad but was amazing writing. good use of onomatopoeia.
This is my second book from Alice Feeny , and boy oh boy , she DOES NOT DISSAPPOINT! This one had all the elements I love from a good psychological thriller – A Creepy Serial Killer, Multiple POVs ( One of them possibly the killer), Unreliable Narrators, and an excellent twist!

* The story begins when the body of a woman is found a small town near London, and DCI Jack Harper is assigned to the investigation. Also, on scene is the journalist/reporter Anna Andrews, who is covering the murder. However, these two have some secrets of their own, and possible connections with each other and with the victim as well. Alternating between Anna's and Jack's points of view, and an unknown third person’s, His & Hers is fast-paced, complex, and deliciously twisty!

*I have to be honest here, it took me some time to get hooked into this book, and I think it has partly to do with my own thriller overload syndrome, and partly with Feeny’s writing style. However, once I got hooked, I literally could not stop and finished it in one sitting!

*If you are new to Feeny’s works, let me begin by telling you that Feeny is the master of Unreliable narrators, she does it excellently. There are statements which make you feel like the truth is being purposefully omitted, and some might find this kind of narration a little misleading.
If you are someone who wants all the facts upfront and want to figure out the mystery on your own while reading, this may not be the book for you.
*With Feeny’s books, the devil is in the details, and if you don’t pay attention you may not pick up on the slight clues and breadcrumbs. His and Hers was no exception. My mind went back and forth with hunches and gut feelings, and every time the third narrator came in (who was so damn creepy btw), I read and re-read those parts determined to figure out who it could be!! However, all my theories went down the drain!

*Although I read the physical copy of this book, I listened to the audio afterwards, because many reviews were raving about the audiobook and the third narrator. I must admit that the audio narration was much creepier. So, I would highly recommend the audiobook version of this one!

*To conclude, if you liked books like SILENT PATIENT, and SOMETIMES I LIE, this one is surely worth your time!

Holy crap! So good! Alice Feeney is one of my new favorites. Kept me guessing until the very end!
