3.5 stars rounded up to 4. I enjoyed this book but at times it would drag and then something exciting happened, and then it would drag again. I will say, I thought I had figured out the ending but was pleasantly surprised by the twist at the end! Thank you Netgalley for the advanced copy

This was…. a lot. I really have no other way of saying it. I suspected everyone but no one and would be genuinely shocked one moment but rolling my eyes of predictability the next??

dark mysterious tense fast-paced

Wow! This book left me with so many WTF moments and I was so sure I had figured out who the killer was. But then it took another turn and I was shook. This is a great psychological thriller that will leave you guessing until the very end. I'm very much looking forward to reading more of Alice Feeney's books.

Interesting story line. It kept my attention and had a good twist at the end. But there were some unanswered questions, maybe there will be a second book?

Damn that was good. It kept me guessing who was doing it the whole time. I did not expect that grandma to fake the dementia and kill all her daughter’s old high school friends in the end!

Last year I read Rock Paper Scissor and I love love love it! I made it a mission to read all of her books since I like her writing and she has this pretty distinctive style/format that I really dig in. Now, a year later, I finally read His & Hers... it's equally great and surprisingly kinda dark.

With Alice Feeney (although I've only read 2 of her books so far), I find myself unbothered to put my detective hat on. The best part of reading mystery/thriller for me is the personal rivalry I had with the author to see if I could crack the mystery before reaching the end game, but halfway through this book I find myself to just let my mind be empty and enjoy the wild ride. I love how the story unfolds, how short each chapter is, the multiple POVs is great at giving different perspective of the same event, the plot twist, the revelation at the end, I like pretty much everything including the unlikeable + unreliable characters. There are a few tiny little things that I found unconvincing/too much coincidence but the good in this book outweight the flaw. That being said, Alice Feeney might be my new favorite author :)

Ég veit ekki hvað ég á að segja.
Spennandi, fléttan endalaus.

Four stars for this one, meaning that you should read it if you’re into mystery thrillers.

Full of twists and turns, this book will keep you flipping pages from beginning to end. You’ll make your guesses, and you’ll be wrong, and at the end it will shock you.

The author’s choice to write the book from two different character perspectives allowed the plot to move along in a way that will introduce intrigue and suspicion in a controlled way to completely through you out of the path in the next chapter. To me, that was the best part of the book, and what it made the difference.

Again, you should read this book if you are into mystery thrillers.
